On Friday, November 13, the Parents Who Host Committee (PWH) of the Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition gathered at Cranbrook Kingswood School to label postcards to every public and private high school family in the Birmingham Bloomfield community, approximately 8,000 in all.

DRUG CZAR AWARDS $21 MILLION FOR LOCAL DRUG FREE COMMUNITY COALITION EFFORTS

The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) announced the awarding of $21 million in Drug Free Communities (DFC) grants to 161 communities across the country.  The Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition was awarded our 5th year of the DFC Grant, and will receive $100,000 in DFC grant funds to involve and engage their local community to prevent and reduce alcohol and other drug abuse among youth.
