Are You an Essential Piece of the Coalition?
 The Coalition held its annual Volunteer Breakfast on Thursday, May 15th. This year’s theme was “Thank you for being an Essential Piece of the Coalition.”
It was well attended by many of our invaluable volunteers, Board members and supporters across all sectors in the community.  “Without the help of volunteers, The Coalition can never accomplish its
goals. Our volunteers are the heart and soul of The Coalition, ”
said Lisa Machesky, Executive Director of The Coalition. The Coalition’s staff made a short presentation of the accomplishments over the past year and highlighted some upcoming exciting events such as summer Movie Nights in Shain Park and the Youth Action Board Band Jams.
Board President, Pastor Lauren Kirsh-Carr, handed out certificates to each volunteer acknowledging their contributions over the last year. Rep. Chuck Moss was also in attendance and distributed congratulatory certificates signed by both he and Senator John Pappageorge.
We are looking forward to another year of collaboration with the community at large and accomplishing great things!
