Meet George Post with the Youth Action Board Minimize
Meet George Post with the Youth Action Board

If you're looking for a warm, friendly smile and an all around great guy - then you're looking for George Post!  He joined the Youth Action Board four years ago after being invited by Jess Brown, who has since moved on to college.  George says, "The Youth Action Board is important because we give teens resources and alternative solutions instead of drugs and alcohol for their problems in life and bring people together."  George commented that he would like to see more guys join the YAB this year!

George grew up in Birmingham and began his educational career at Pierce Elementary.  He is currently a senior at Cranbrook and has two younger sisters attending there as well.  George enjoys swimming, scuba diving and snow skiing.  His summer was spent lifeguarding at Oakland Hills Country Club and vacationing on the Jersey shore.

Although he is undecided about where he'll go to college next fall, George is pretty sure he knows what his major will be.  He has a passion for environmental science and recently spent a semester in the Bahamas studying in an outside program.

You may see George hanging out around town with friends and going to the movies.  A unique trait that he is particularly proud of is a freckle on his left palm.  George is an asset to the Youth Action Board and we are very fortunate to have him on board!
